12/16/25

🚨❄️ OFFICIAL 48-HOUR NOTICE ❄️🚨
Oneida County Snowmobile Trails are OPENING December 19th at NOON!
As we head into opening weekend, let’s do this the RIGHT way 👇
✔️ Know Before You Go – always check trail status
✔️ Ride to the RIGHT
✔️ STAY BETWEEN THE BLAZERS
✔️ Respect wildlife & private land
✔️ STOP for groomers – wait until they stop and signal it’s safe to pass
✔️ Ride smart, ride safe, and ride with respect
⚠️ Remember: ALL it takes is ONE person ignoring the rules to put our trails at risk. Trespassing, off-trail riding, or unsafe behavior can shut trails down for everyone. Let’s protect what we have.

NORTHERN TRAILS UNLIMITED SNOWMOBILE TRAILS WILL REMAIN CLOSED ….
1/29/25–PSA
After careful consideration, the Oneida County Snowmobile Council has made the decision to keep the Oneida County Snowmobile Trail System closed. Oneida County Snowmobile Council will be continuing to honor the previously conducted vote to keep the Oneida County Snowmobile Trails closed due to poor snow conditions.
As the custodians of the trail system, both on public and private lands, we understand the privilege it is to use these trails and do not want to abuse that privilege and/or risk rider safety.
The Oneida County Snowmobile Council will review the opening decision as soon as conditions change.
1/24/25–PSA

Please note the re-route on trail 51A between Boomba Bar & Grill, LLC and Prairie Rapids Tavern (highlighted in yellow). If you are heading East, when you get to the corner of Old 8 and Hwy Y, the trail now heads North to Prairie Rapids Road, then East to Lund Rd, and then South and back into the woods where the trail has been in the past.
